Calvin Johnson

Calvin Johnson is a guitarist, vocalist and founding member of the bands Cool Rays, Beat Happening, The Go-Team, Dub Narcotic Sound System, and The Halo Benders. He is known for his uniquely deep, droning singing voice. Johnson was born in Olympia, Washington.
He has worked with Beck, Heavenly, The Microphones, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, and Built to Spill among others. He has also produced recordings by many bands.

Smith Westerns consists of Cullen Omori (vocals), Max Kakacek (Guitar), and Cameron Omori (Bass). All members range in age from 19 to 20. Since forming in 2007, Smith Westerns have managed to tour both the United States and Europe while supporting the likes of MGMT, Florence and the Machine, Belle and Sebastian, Girls, and Passion Pit. Their self recorded “lo-fi” debut Smith Westerns released in 2009, garnered critical acclaim for their youthful and glam rock tinged approach to pop music.

Fungi Girls are a trio from Cleburne, Texas. “The guys that comprise this power trio are all still barely over the legal driving age, but still not even close to the drinking age, so when the surprising and wise-beyond-their-years modern psychedelic/gaze sounds first bolted from our speakers, we had to do something about it. Their first impression sits heavily on the unique and subdued vocals that seem to lightly hover over the hazy, yet complex arrangements, forming an incredibly atmospheric blast that doesn’t really sound like anything else.
